Saying Goodbye To My Ural

I sold my Ural Sahara today.  Saying goodbye to Yaa Ya Ya was bittersweet, but the poor thing has been sitting in my garage since I bought the trike and it just seemed like it needed to have a new owner.

Here's a picture of me waiting for the new owner to arrive off the plane at Orange County this morning.  Had I known that everyone wanted me to be their taxi cab, I might have kept it for making tours or something straight off the plane.  I had a lot of offers... believe me!

Waithing For The New Owner

Here's a picture of the new owner.  We went back to the house to do some minor adjustments.  He's quite a bit taller than me and had to move the seat to its original position.  Other than that... he was happy... regardless of how he looks here *funny*.

I got on my trike and waived goodbye as I led him to the freeway.  He looked happy and said he would be home in a few days.  Yaa Ya Ya was happy too, I could tell ... she never looked back...

Whaaaaa .........  :(((

Happy New Era Trailzzz to Yaa Ya Ya & To Me

I'm sure you also had a lot of offers because you're so darn cute.

So, now you’re down to two bikes. Something tells me that you’ll get along just fine.

Taxi! I might of given someone a ride. At least to the next bus stop. For 10 bucks.

Thanks Jovita! They were looking at the sidecar though LOL!

Willy: If they had offered me $$ who knows...Ha! In any case, yes...I actually feel better selling it. I have been riding the Trike and neglecting all others, so this is much better.

Still a sad day though.
Glad she'll get a new home where she might see some more road time!

Dean: Yes, but she's happy....

How could you be so attached to a material object? When you figure that one out...please call me and because I need help! I loved your Ural, but alas, all things must come to an end in order to start the next beginning. I'm bummed because I never got to meet the Ural in person.

Glad you had a good sale. I bet he is happy. I don't take good picture's either. Taxi driver....never had one so pretty. They can't speak English or in NYC have scares all over the back of the head.

Dave: Yes... it would have been fun to take a cruise in it!

Webster: I don't like cabs myself, but have taken them in NY. Yes, they are a bit winky!
