Hey NN: GoPro Hero. Not the 2 on this one. The only difference between the Hero and Hero is 2 is glass, but for the small difference buy up to the Hero2. Glass is always better, a little crisper and a little faster filming on it too. I have had this one for a couple of years now, and have the original one too, so I don't need to bump up yet...although I may just because I am an addict for camera LOL! Get yourself a few extra adapters too. I have 2 suctions and never really trusted them until lately. Now I really use all the time. Easy to pull off the tank and load in my purse or backpack. Let us know when you get one and start posting. My sugestion would be to get a You Tube account to post them. Yes it takes a VERY LONG TIME to upload there but afterwards sharing the link is so much easier. Otherwise you might have to convert your film into a different format and that gets all crazy.
I love your videos! Where did you get your face mask? It's very cool and something that I need with my 1/2 helmet when it's cooler out. I always end up using a doo-rag.
Hey KT - I'm looking at this Hero2 setup online and I wonder if you'd take a few questions. How are you mounting it on your bike- clamped to handlebars/engine guard, using the suction cup on a painted surface, or with the adhesive mount set-up? And the product description says the adhesive mount is easily removable with application of heat, like a blow dryer. What is your experience with this? Is there any residue or marking of the surface where the adhesive mount was used? I'll subscribe to the comments, so any response will hit my email. Thanks!
Hi NN: On this video I actually used the suction cup, which surprisingly works well on the tank. With the suction you are limited to flat clean surfaces. I also use the adhesive mount on my SG fairing. I keep it on. I used it through 7 states to Sturgis and still is on. Again, smooth surface. I hooked it on the back of my speedo on the Nightster and it fell off. The surface is uneven, no smooth. I also use the adapters. Sold sep. the handlebar ones work just fine. Also an extension for view above the bar. I have enever taken the adhesive one off, cause I use it. I assume you could use goo off or something of the same. Its pretty strong. BTW: I bought the Hero2 with my "points" and love it. Easier to use than the others. Download Cineform also. You can zoom in on shots in editing. Let me know how it all works out. Fun!

Thanks KT- I'm looking at the 2 because it is the 'next generation' Hero camera and is getting good reviews online.
